Installing it
- Open the file you downloaded (Upbeat Money Setup).
- Read and accept the user agreement, then press Install.
- Upbeat Money opens and walks you through your paycheck and bills in a few minutes.
If Windows says "Windows protected your PC"
That's Windows SmartScreen. It shows up for new programs from small makers that haven't been downloaded many times yet - it doesn't mean anything is wrong. Click More info, check it says Upbeat Money, then click Run anyway.
After the trial
Buy a key - it costs less than in the Microsoft Store. In Upbeat Money, Buy a key at the top fills in your Machine ID for you. Paste the key you're sent into Settings, Add-ons, and you carry on right where you left off.
Updating
Upbeat Money checks this site once a day and tells you when a newer version is ready. Download it from this page and run it over the top - your numbers stay exactly where they are.
